Airbus in Talks With Chinese Airlines for Order of Hundreds of Planes, Bloomberg Says, Citing Sources

-- Airbus could receive as soon as next month an order from China for hundreds of planes, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

-- Talks are underway with Chinese airlines about the size of a potential order, which could total about 300 planes and include both narrowbody and widebody plane types, the sources told Bloomberg, with one telling the news outlet the order could range between 200 and 500 planes.

-- Negotiations regarding the order are fluid and could take longer than expected to reach an agreement and could collapse, Bloomberg reports.

-- Airbus declined to comment to Bloomberg and China's Civil Aviation Administration didn't respond to a request for comment.
