SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings (TYO:9412) recorded a net decline of 16,415 subscribers to its SKY PerfecTV! multichannel pay-TV service in May, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The platform added 29,750 new subscribers and lost 46,165 during the month, bringing the cumulative total to 2,589,701, the filing said.
Its optical fiber-based re-transmission service had 2.9 million subscribing households, with a net gain of 8,108. The total number of SKY PerfecTV! contractors stood at around 2 million.
