Western Yilgarn Acquires Western Australia Project; Shares Up 4%

Western Yilgarn (ASX:WYX) acquired the Cardea 3 project, located east of its Julimar West project, expanding its mineralized footprint within the Darling Range in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The transaction involves a AU$5,000 cash deposit upon term sheet execution, a AU$20,000 additional cash payment, and the issue of AU$25,000 worth of shares in the company, the filing said.

Shares rose nearly 4% in midday trade Wednesday.
