South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT finalized a 382.5 billion won contract with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) for the construction of South Korea's sixth supercomputer, the ministry said last week.
The deal, signed through the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, includes 78 billion won for five years of maintenance, the release said.
HPE was selected through a competitive bidding process based on technical and performance evaluations. The US-based firm will deliver the system by the first half of 2026, it said.
