Comcast Corporation's subsidiary, DataBee, has expanded its cybersecurity offerings with the integration of BluVector, an AI-powered network detection and response platform. This addition enhances DataBee's suite of cybersecurity products, which includes their award-winning security data fabric platform. BluVector is designed to detect network evidence of ransomware, in-memory malware, zero-day exploits, and other cyber threats by utilizing AI and machine learning. Its machine learning engine can identify zero-day malware and polymorphic threats by analyzing file content for malicious traits. The platform is built for high performance, capable of inspecting millions of packets per second for real-time threat detection. Since acquiring BluVector Inc. in 2019, Comcast has deployed the NDR platform across its operations, using it to enhance threat hunting and reduce log intake costs.
