The combined operating revenue of China's state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the January-to-April period maintained the same level year on year at 26.276 trillion yuan, Xinhua reported, citing data from the Ministry of Finance.
SOEs' total profits slipped 1.7% year on year to 1.35 trillion yuan during the same period, while their tax and fees payments slightly rose to 2.04 trillion yuan from the prior year, the report said.
The debt-to-asset ratio of the SOEs rose 0.2 percentage points from a year earlier to 65.1% as of the end of April, the report said.
