Allegiant Travel Company has announced its preliminary passenger traffic results for April 2025. The airline reported a 15.0% increase in passengers for its scheduled service compared to April 2024, with a total of 1,526,823 passengers. Revenue passenger miles rose by 17.4% to 1,447,242, while available seat miles increased by 20.5%, reaching 1,802,989. The load factor decreased slightly by 2.1 percentage points to 80.3%. Departures for the scheduled service grew by 18.4% to 11,010, and the average stage length rose by 2.5% to 934 miles. In terms of total system operations, which include scheduled service and fixed fee contracts, the company saw a 14.9% increase in passengers, totaling 1,543,689. Available seat miles increased by 20.8% to 1,865,323, and departures rose by 18.6% to 11,433. The average stage length for the total system also increased by 2.6% to 930 miles. Allegiant's estimated average fuel cost per gallon for April 2025 was reported at $2.51.
