This acquisition integrates approximately 2,900 customer connections into Pennsylvania American Water's existing network, positioned strategically between its Royersford and Norristown systems. The acquisition was finalized following approval from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, allowing Pennsylvania American Water to adopt existing customer rates and plan future improvements. Over the next five years, the company plans to invest about $21.5 million in infrastructure upgrades, including main restorations and treatment plant enhancements.
