0903 GMT - Adidas looks set to navigate a highly volatile environment and outperform the sector in the coming years, UBS analysts write in a note. The German sporting-goods company has a strong product pipeline across both footwear and apparel for 2025 and 2026, they say. There have been no cancellations to the existing order book and feedback from retailers has been very encouraging, the analysts add. A key concern for investors is the resurgence of Nike, as well as the threat from new entrants in the sportswear category, UBS says. The market might be underestimating Adidas's strengths in innovation, they say. While developing a new product typically takes around one year, Adidas can bring models to market in just a few months, UBS says. Shares climb 2.5%. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
