Crown Holdings, Inc. has announced plans to expand its beverage can plant in Ponta Grossa, Brazil, by adding a new high-speed production line. This expansion is set to address the growing demand from both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage customers in the southern region of Brazil. The plant, originally constructed in 2011, currently operates two production lines with an annual capacity of 2.4 billion cans. With the addition of the third line, the plant's capacity will increase to 3.6 billion cans, making it Crown's largest operation in Brazil. Commercial production on the new line is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Crown Holdings maintains its forecast of approximately $800 million in adjusted free cash flow for the full year 2025, with capital expenditures projected at around $450 million.
