Quasar Medical has announced a definitive agreement with Nordson Corporation to acquire its design and development contract manufacturing businesses located in Galway, Ireland, and Tecate, Mexico. This acquisition aims to bolster Quasar's position as a global leader in the manufacturing of interventional and minimally invasive devices by integrating these facilities into its expanding global platform. The Galway and Tecate sites will enhance Quasar's capabilities in complex balloon and catheter design, rapid prototyping, and cost-effective device assembly. The deal is expected to be finalized in the third quarter of 2025, marking a significant expansion for Quasar Medical's full-lifecycle CDMO platform.
