Singapore Shipping's Attributable Profit Falls 21% in Fiscal H2

Singapore Shipping's (SGX:S19) attributable profit to owners declined 21% during fiscal H2 to SG$3.7 million from SG$4.7 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.009 compared with SG$0.012 in the comparable period.

Revenue was up 2.9% year over year to SG$23.3 million from SG$22.6 million, due to increased revenue from ship owning segment.

The shipping group proposed a final dividend of SG$0.01 per share for the 12 months ended March 31.
