C3 AI, an enterprise AI application software company, has announced that its contract with the United States Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office has been increased to a ceiling of $450 million, extending through October 2029. This expansion supports the widespread deployment of C3 AI's predictive maintenance platform across various aircraft, weapons systems, and ground assets. Initially awarded a $100 million ceiling, which has been fully utilized, the contract will now see an additional $350 million to further scale C3 AI's predictive analytics capabilities. The platform, PANDA, is instrumental in enhancing aircraft availability by monitoring components in real-time, thereby improving readiness and reducing maintenance costs across the Air Force fleet.
