U.S. GoldMining Inc. (NASDAQ: USGO) has announced plans to further explore its Whistler Gold-Copper Project in Alaska, focusing on the northern part of the site. Located within the West Susitna Mineral District, just 105 miles from Anchorage, the project includes existing gold, copper, and silver resources, as well as potential for critical metals like antimony and tungsten. The Whistler Project spans 53,700 acres of State mining claims, with current deposits occupying less than 1% of the area. The company has identified over 25 potential exploration targets within the Whistler-Raintree Mineral System and is planning phased exploration programs to commence this summer. The initiative aims to assess both existing resources and future potential, enhancing the project's long-term mining opportunities.
