Seattle-based e-commerce company Coupang appointed Park Dae-jun as its sole chief executive officer, ending the previous co-CEO structure with Kang Han-seung, who will now head the firm's North American business development.
Park will also serve as board chairman, Pulse News reported Tuesday.
Since joining Coupang in 2012, Park has played a key role in launching Rocket Delivery and building over 100 AI-powered fulfillment centers across South Korea. His leadership is expected to further advance Coupang's logistics and AI capabilities, the report said.
