Atlas Engineered Products Ltd. $(AEP)$ announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2025, reporting a significant year-over-year revenue increase of 21% to $11.01 million. The company saw substantial growth in specific segments, with Wall Panel revenue increasing by 42% and Engineered Wood Products revenue rising by 30% compared to the same period last year. The adjusted EBITDA for the three months ended March 31, 2025, was $586,666, marking a 137% increase from the $247,738 reported in the first quarter of 2024. Despite this, AEP recorded a net loss after taxes of $846,331, which is an improvement from the net loss of $993,436 in the previous year. The improvement in net loss is attributed to increased revenues, although it was offset by non-cash items such as depreciation and amortization and share-based payments. The company's gross profit increased to $1.74 million from $1.42 million the previous year, maintaining a gross margin of 16%. Operating expenses rose to $2.51 million from $2.25 million year-over-year, resulting in an operating loss of $770,783, compared to an operating loss of $820,927 in the same quarter of 2024. Hadi Abassi, President and CEO of AEP, expressed pride in the team's performance, noting that the quieter first quarter is used for essential maintenance and repairs to ensure efficiency during the busier construction season in the summer and fall.
