Seshasayee Paper & Boards (BOM:502450) has increased the capacity of its Tamil Nadu wind-solar project to 52.8 MWp (DC) solar and 9 MW wind from 33 MWp solar and 6 MW wind, according to a Friday filing on the local bourse.
The company signed amended agreements with Ganeko Solar and Navia One Power and will invest up to 260.1 million Indian rupees for a 26.1% stake in the project's SPV.
The renewable energy will be supplied exclusively to Seshasayee Paper at lower power costs.
