Revau Canada names Tejani president and COO as Raymond heads to the US

By Chris Munro

May 27 - (The Insurer) - Expansive MGA Revau has appointed Rahim Tejani as president and chief operating officer of its Canadian operation.

Rahim, who joined Revau in 2023 after a decade at broker BFL Canada, has served as the company’s COO since May 2024.

From June 15, the Toronto-based Tejani will hold the joint titles of president and COO of Revau Canada.

Tejani takes on his new roles at what the MGA said is “a transformational moment” for the company.

As Program Manager exclusively reported earlier in May, Revau has made a play in the U.S. market following the acquisitions of Brazos Specialty Risk Insurance and Twenty Mile Insurance Services, moves that support its bid to expand across North America.

The Brazos Specialty and Twenty Mile deals are Revau’s eighth strategic transaction, and the largest since the company partnered with Novacap in 2020.

With Tejani assuming oversight of the Canadian business, Revau’s current president and CEO Jean-François Raymond will relocate to the U.S. in mid-June to lead its newly established U.S. division as CEO.

Raymond will continue to serve as president and CEO of Revau holdings.
