Nimy Resources (ASX:NIM) said an outcropping chlorite schist was discovered near its initial gallium discovery, highlighting the potential for additional near-surface mineralization within the Block 3 discovery at its Mons project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Chlorite schist in previous holes was found to typically host high-grade gallium, the filing said.
Phase two drilling campaign at the East prospect is nearing completion, and the firm will interpret the data and then begin phase three drilling.
Its shares fell 8% on market close on Monday.
