Unifi Inc., a leading innovator in recycled and synthetic yarns, announced the sale of its manufacturing facility in Madison, North Carolina. The transaction, valued at $45 million, was completed with net proceeds of $25 million and $18.3 million allocated to reducing the company's existing term and revolving loans, respectively. This strategic move is expected to enhance Unifi's financial position by reducing debt and is projected to result in over $20 million in annualized operating cost savings, as production capacity is relocated to other facilities in North and Central America.
