Aster DM Healthcare Climbs to Profit in Fiscal Q4; Shares Down 5%

Aster DM Healthcare (NSE:ASTERDM, BOM:540975) climbed to a profit in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, with a consolidated attributable profit of 790.2 million Indian rupees against a net loss of 240.3 million rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share came in at 1.58 rupees compared with a loss per share of 0.48 rupees, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the healthcare services company.

The company's revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 10.0 billion rupees from 9.7 billion rupees a earlier.

The board of directors recommended a final dividend of 1 rupee per equity share of face value of 10 rupees each for the financial year 2024-25.

Aster DM's shares were down 5% in recent trade.
