IAT Automobile Technology (SHE:300825) secured a 337 million-yuan deal with Japan's Mirai Energy to develop and supply electric vehicle conversion kits for heavy-duty trucks.
The five-year contract includes research and development and post-certification procurement, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Shares of the Chinese auto designer climbed 1% in recent trade.
