Equitable Holdings Boosts Dividend 12.5%, to 27 Cents

Equitable Holdings raised its dividend to 27 cents a share, adding three cents a share to the payout.

The financial services company behind Equitable, AllianceBernstein and Equitable Advisors said Wednesday that the higher dividend will be paid June 9 to shareholders of record as of June 2.

On an annualized basis, the new dividend payout is $1.08 a share and represents a yield of about 2.1% based on Wednesday's closing price of $51.84.

This time a year ago, the New York-based company raised its quarterly dividend by two cents to 24 cents a share.
