Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) is acquiring and leasing a new domestic solar energy project for 1.39 billion yen, according to its Wednesday filing with the Tokyo bourse.
The project, located in Miyagi Prefecture, boasts a power generation capacity of 3.30 MW.
While the lessee and seller are not related parties under the Act on Investment Trust and Investment Corp., the Asset Manager confirmed that the transaction adhered to its internal related-party transaction rules and received approval from the fund's board of directors.
