First US Bancshares Inc. has announced a management change, appointing Matthew A. Parker as the new principal accounting officer, effective May 21, 2025. Parker, who is 36 years old, previously held the position of Director of Financial Reporting at First US Bank, a subsidiary of the company, since December 2021. Prior to that, he served as Controller at Acceptance Loan Company, Inc. from August 2017 to December 2021. Thomas S. Elley, the previous principal accounting officer, will continue in his roles as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Assistant Secretary of the company.
