Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) said its geological field team is set to mobilize to the Mojave critical minerals project in California in June, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
It expects to receive fast-track approvals of its drilling permits, and a maiden drilling program is planned for the September quarter.
The field program includes confirmation and pegging of drill collar locations, engagement with a drilling contractor to fast-track drilling after approvals, follow-up outcrop mapping and rock chip sampling across antimony, rare earth elements, polymetallic, and copper prospects, as well as the refining of radiometric and magnetic targets to guide upcoming drilling.
Its shares rose over 42% on market close on Friday, reaching a 52-week high point.
