Sunshine Metals (ASX:SHN) was awarded two collaborative exploration incentive grants totaling AU$393,795 from the Queensland state government to support the discovery of critical and strategic mineral projects, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
It will use the grants to drill a 650-meter diamond drill hole to test a coincident induced polarization and electromagnetic anomaly on the north side of the conceptual Liontown dome and conduct an 840 line-kilometer airborne electromagnetic survey to detect a copper-gold system at the Coronation region. Both areas are part of the Ravenswood consolidated project.
Both exploration activities are expected to begin in June or July.
Its shares were up 7% on market close.
