BUZZ-CATL rises after strong HK debut, raises more funds on over-allotment option

** Hong Kong-listed shares of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd $(CATL.UK)$ 3750.HK jump 12.1% to a record high of HK$343.4 on the second day of trade after a strong debut

** Shenzhen-listed stock 300750.SZ rises 6.5% to 279.99 yuna, its highest since December 10, 2024

** CATL said later on Tuesday that it had fully exercised an over-allotment option to issue 20.34 mln H shares, raising an additional HK$5.3 bln ($683 mln) net proceeds

** CATL Hong Kong shares closed 16% higher on their Hong Kong debut on Tuesday after the Chinese electric vehicle battery giant raised $4.6 billion in the world's largest listing this year, boosting prospects for equity sales by Chinese companies

** Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH climbs 1% and Hang Seng Index .HSI adds 0.9%

** YTD, Shenzhen stock up 4.3%
