Honeywell Closes Sale of Personal Protective Equipment Business for $1.325 Billion

Honeywell International (HON) closed the sale of its personal protective equipment business for $1.325 billion in cash to Protective Industrial Products, a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners.

"Completing the divestiture of our PPE business is another critical step in simplifying and optimizing our portfolio for growth in our core businesses," Honeywell Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kapur said Thursday in a statement.
