Valens Semiconductor CEO to Retire at Year's End

The chief executive of Valens Semiconductor intends to retire by the end of 2025.

The Israeli company said Thursday that Gideon Ben Zvi will remain in charge until the end of the year or a successor is appointed. He will remain a member of the board.

Ben Zvi has served as CEO since 2020 and a director since 2011. He oversaw the commercial launch of Valens's next-generation USB 3.0 extension chipset.
