Canadian National Railway to Invest Combined $561.9 Million in British Columbia, Manitoba

Canadian National Railway (CNI) plans to invest 615 million Canadian dollars ($443 million) in British Columbia as part of its 2025 capital program supporting infrastructure.

The funding will support freight flow through the Vancouver corridor and expand network capacity from Prince Rupert across Western Canada, the company said Thursday in a statement.

The company also plans to spend $118.9 million in Manitoba, including upgrades to improve operations of rail yards in Winnipeg.
