Dow Jones
23 May

1019 ET - Intuit, the company known for products including TurboTax and Credit Karma says data and AI powered many elements of its customer experience this tax season. Its done-for-you experience drove a 12% reduction in average time a customer spent on their return, with more than half of its do-it-yourself and do-it-with-me customers completing their return in under one hour, says CEO Sasan Goodarzi on an earnings call. Intuit has invested more in AI in recent months, with its efforts paying off in the latest quarter as its tax business saw strong results in F3Q, including an acceleration in revenue growth in TurboTax Live, where AI agents and experts support customers. Intuit surges 9% on better-than-expected F4Q guidance a raised outlook for the year. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
