1425 ET - American Eagle Outfitters already issued disappointing preliminary F1Q results and scrapped its guidance for the year, but UBS is worried that the company's analyst call next week could further underwhelm investors. Google search interest for the apparel company's namesake brand is down, and digital traffic data shows that total visits to its websites are decelerating, analysts say in a research note, citing UBS data. These trends come despite higher promotions, the analysts add. They say the company is unlikely to issue guidance beyond the second quarter, during which they expect sales to fall 4% to 6%.
