iPower's Chief Executive Officer Chenlong Tan will serve as chief financial officer on an interim basis effective May 31.
Current CFO Kevin Vassily plans to resign to pursue another opportunity, the company said Friday. His departure is effective May 30. He will then work as a consultant to the company for one month starting June 1 to assist in the transition and search for a permanent replacement.
Tan has been CEO since he co-founded the company in 2018. He was interim CFO from January 2020 to January 2021, and gave up the position after Vassily was hired.
The company also said that Yue Guo was named to the board of directors.
