Ryman Hospitality has agreed to buy the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix for $865 million.

Marriott International will continue to operate the hotel under the JW Marriott brand, Ryman Hospitality said Monday.

The deal is expected to close in the second or third quarter, the company said.

The hotel has been one of Ryman Hospitality's top acquisitions targets for years, and expands the company's hotel distribution in the western U.S., Chief Executive Mark Fioravanti said.

The company previously acquired a JW Marriott hotel in San Antonio in 2023, he said.
