B. Riley Financial (RILY) said Monday that it has appointed Scott Yessner as chief financial officer, starting June 3.
Yessner will succeed Phillip Ahn, who is leaving to pursue another opportunity, the company said.
Yessner has served as a strategic advisor to the company for the last two months and previously served as CFO of California Expanded Metal Products and Universal Technical Institute, the company said.
B. Riley Financial's shares fell 4.8% in recent premarket activity Monday.
