Hot Chili Limited (ASX: HCH) has announced promising results from its La Verde copper-gold (Cu-Au) discovery in the Atacama region of Chile. The company recently completed a phase-one drilling campaign consisting of 31 RC drill holes, revealing a 400 m by 550 m discovery footprint extending from near-surface to approximately 300 m depth. Initial assays show significant mineralization, and over half of the drill holes ended with notable findings, prompting plans for deeper diamond drilling in a phase-two campaign. This discovery is expected to enhance the potential for a significant open pit mine life addition to the Costa Fuego Cu-Au Hub, with further updates anticipated as regulatory applications for additional drilling access progress.
