European Union antitrust authorities are set to decide by June 25 on whether to approve Mars' planned $35.9 billion acquisition of Kellanova (K), Reuters reported Monday, citing a European Commission filing.
The transaction was announced in August 2024 and Mars previously said it expects to close the acquisition in H1 2025.
Mars and Kellanova did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
