United Homes Group (UHG) said Monday it has appointed John G., or Jack, Micenko, Jr., as chief executive and Jeremy Pyle as co-chief operating officer.

Micenko succeeds interim CEO Jamie Pirrello, who remains on the board, the company said. Micenko was most recently a managing director at BTIG, while Pyle was previously the company's co-executive vice president of Construction Services, according to United Homes.

The United Homes board also launched a review of strategic alternatives, including a potential sale, asset divestitures, or debt refinancing, the company said.

A special committee of independent directors will lead the review with help from Vestra Advisors and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, the company added.

Shares of the company were up more than 5% in recent premarket activity.
