AeroVironment's Tomahawk Business Wins $5.1 Million US Army Contract

AeroVironment (AVAV) said Monday that its Tomahawk GCS business has won a $5.1 million contract to support the rapid prototyping project of the US Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office Human-Machine Integrated Formations.

The contract states that Tomahawk will provide the US Army with its Grip TA5 Dismounted Common Controller, which allows users to command and control multiple robotic assets in real time, the company said.
