Terrain Minerals Starts Drilling Western Australia Prospects

Terrain Minerals (ASX:TMX) started drilling at its Lightning and Monza prospects within the Smokebush project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The drill program involves 17 holes for 3,350 meters of reverse circulation drilling, building on recent results including 11 meters at 6.03 grams per tonne grade of gold and 43.5 g/t grade of silver from 75 meters, and five meters at 3.77 g/t grade of gold from 180 meters downhole, the filing said.

Drilling is expected to take 20 days, followed by eight weeks for transport and analysis, according to the filing.
