May 19 - (The Insurer) - Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed Karen Green and David Priebe to its board of directors, while longstanding director Bill Freda has retired.

The appointments went into effect on May 15.

Green is the senior independent director of Phoenix Group Holdings, a non-executive director of Admiral Insurance Group and Great Portland Estates. She is also the non-executive director of the Miller broking business and Tucano Holdings Jersey.

Priebe, who has over 40 years of experience in the industry, retired from Guy Carpenter in January, where he served as chair.

Freda had served on the Hamilton board since June 2014, and held the position of chair from August 2017 until May 2023. His retirement also went into effect on May 15.

“The addition of Karen and David reflects our commitment to building a Bboard that is both dynamic and strategically aligned with Hamilton’s focus on driving value for our clients and shareholders," said Hamilton CEO Pina Albo.
