RVNL Wins INR1.79 Billion Signalling, Telecom Work From IRCON

Rail Vikas Nigam (NSE:RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder for a 1.79 billion Indian rupee contract from IRCON International, according to a Monday filing on the local bourses.

The contract involves the supply and installation of signalling, telecommunications, and EIMWB materials across 10 new stations and six intermediate block sections in the Gevra-Pendra road section.

The scope also includes setting up section control systems, train control communications, and telephone exchange systems and modifying existing interlocking installations.

The project is to be completed within 11 months and is part of RVNL's regular business operations.
