Agilysys posted a higher profit and sales in the fiscal fourth quarter, though its outlook for the current year was below expectations.
The software provider for the hospitality industry on Monday posted a profit of $3.9 million, or 14 cents a share, in the quarter ended March 31, compared with $3.0 million, or 11 cents a share, a year earlier.
Stripping out certain one-time items, adjusted per-share earnings were 54 cents, ahead of the 29 cents forecast by analysts, according to FactSet.
Revenue rose 19% to $74.3 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet forecast revenue of $71.4 million. Subscription revenue increased 43%, driven in part by sales from Book4Time, which Agilysys acquired in August.
For the current fiscal year 2026, Agilysys expects to record $308 million to $312 million, below the $318.8 million analysts were projecting. The company is also anticipating 25% year-over-year growth in subscription revenue.
