May 19 (Reuters) - Wendy McMahon, the president and CEO of CBS News, will step down from her position, as the company and her have differing views on the path forward, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Monday.
McMahon, president and CEO of Paramount Global-owned PARA.O CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures since 2023, said in the memo that the last few months have been challenging.
"It's become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward. It's time for me to move on and for this organization to move forward with new leadership," McMahon said.
