Vobile Group (HKG:3738) agreed to issue HK$98.8 million of three-year convertible bonds carrying no interest to SPDB International Investment Management, a May 18 Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The bonds are convertible into 26 million shares, which represent 1.12% of the digital content protection and transaction company's enlarged issued share capital.
The firm will use 65% of the proceeds for development and investment in artificial intelligence-generated content, 10% to repay borrowings, and 25% for general working capital.
