IHS Holding Limited, one of the leading independent owners and operators of shared communications infrastructure, announced its agreement to sell its Rwanda operations to Paradigm Tower Ventures. The sale includes 100% of IHS Rwanda Limited and its approximately 1,465 sites. The transaction, valued at $274.5 million, is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. This move is part of IHS Towers' strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing shareholder value. Sam Darwish, Chairman & CEO of IHS Towers, highlighted the significant value of the Rwanda operations within their portfolio and expressed appreciation for the support from colleagues, customers, and the Government of Rwanda. Stephen Harris, Co-founder of Paradigm Tower Ventures, expressed enthusiasm about entering the Rwandan market and emphasized their commitment to building a customer-focused business.
