CNH Industrial (CNH) said late Thursday it signed an agreement with Starlink, a SpaceX subsidiary, to provide affordable high-speed satellite connectivity for its agricultural brands.
The partnership will support CNH's Case IH, New Holland, and Steyr equipment by improving connectivity for farm management devices, even in remote locations.
The company said enhanced data transfer capabilities will support key activities like prescription spraying, enabling faster deployment of crop protection and weed control measures to help improve yields.
