Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc. has announced a significant $90 million investment in Columbus, Ohio, with the unveiling of a new 400,000-square-foot distribution and warehouse facility, along with two 15,000-square-foot buildings for equipment repair and fleet maintenance. This expansion, located on a 60-acre campus at the Rickenbacker Industrial Center, aims to enhance service to the Columbus community and surrounding regions through innovative sustainability processes and new technologies. The facility features a sales center, on-site Wellness Clinic, and an experiential learning center for hands-on training. Through new equipment and sustainability initiatives, including LED lighting and future EV charging infrastructure, the campus will handle over 16 million cases of product annually. This investment is part of Coca-Cola Consolidated's broader commitment to growth in Ohio, where it employs over 2,210 people across 15 facilities.
