DLocal Shares Rise on Stronger 1Q Results

DLocal shares rose 15% after its latest quarterly results highlighted year-over-year growth.

Shares were trading around $11.75. The stock is up about 0.6% on the year.

The online payments-focused company recorded first-quarter revenue of $216.8 million, an 18% increase from a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $210.1 million.

DLocal said its topline figure was driven by higher cross-border share. It noted that total payment volume rose 53% from a year earlier to $8.1 billion.
